WHAT INSTRUMENTS DO THE BAND PLAY?

ARKLIGHT consists of Keyboards, Fiddle, Electric Guitar, Drums, Bohdran, and Acoustic Guitar.

DO YOU CATER FOR ALL AGE GROUPS?

We pride ourselves in being able to cater for all age groups young and old. When we formed ARKLIGHT we wanted to be able to perform a large variety of music to cater for any wedding or event.

DOES THE BAND PERFORM THE FIRST DANCE FOR WEDDINGS?

We will do or very best to learn your first dance song, but if we feel that we can’t do a good version of the song we can then play the original version of the song as an MP3 for you through our PA system.

DO YOU REQUIRE A BOOKING FEE?

Yes, a booking fee will only secure your date. Once your booking fee has been received we will then send you confirmation of your booking.

DO YOU TAKE PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS?

Yes, your date can be provisionally held for up to 10 days.

WHAT TIME DOES THE BAND ARRIVE AT THE HOTEL FOR WEDDINGS?

We arrive to the hotel at 8pm. We arrive at this time to ensure that there are no delays in starting.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SETUP THE EQUIPMENT FOR WEDDINGS?

Once we have our equipment in the room & the hotel has given the band full access to the stage area, we will be set up in 40 minutes.

DOES THE BAND PERFORM AT A LOUD VOLUME?

Absolutely not – we perform at a comfortable listening level so that if people want to chat they can do so in comfort. If you think the volume is too loud on the night please approach the band and ask us to turn down the volume. We won’t be offended. The very last thing we want to hear at the end of the night is that we were too loud.

DOES THE BAND TRAVEL ALL OVER IRELAND AND ABROAD?

Yes, we perform all over Ireland and abroad regularly, so traveling isn’t a problem.

We service Cork, Kerry, Limerick and all parts of Munster and the midlands. We also love travelling to new areas so if you want us in Mayo or Cavan for you wedding get in contact with us.
